I don’t drink or smoke…It has never been my thing….That won’t change either when I turn 21. I think people live to be in that “crowd”, instead of risking to be “uncool” by trying to exist outside of it. I can tell you right off the hand you’re not missing out on much, but a few car accidents and horrible choices you would have never made if you were sober. This isn’t knocking anyone who does smoke or drinks, by all means live your life.But there is a difference between doing it because you want to, and doing it because its just “there”. Just like there is a difference between doing what you like, and doing what the people around you would like to see you do.
